Therapy at our Southlake Office

You may come to our office in Southlake, Texas to attend in-person therapy appointments.

Our Southlake office is located between Dallas and Fort Worth, Texas at:

1340 N White Chapel Blvd, Ste 130
Southlake, TX 76092

Convenient Location

We are conveniently located off of Highway 114 at the N White Chapel Blvd exit. Coming from the highway, you’ll pass a tan office building with the sign “Chapel Crossing,” and then a first set of smaller office buildings. Take your third right where there’s a stone sign for “White Chapel Office Complex 1310-1360.” (If you get to a roundabout, you’ve gone too far.) We’re located in the second building on your right. Look for the number 1340 on the building. You may easily park in the lot where you like.

Therapy in Public Settings

When working with your therapist to address phobias, anxiety related to OCD, and other fears it may sometimes be helpful to engage in exposures outside of the therapy office. For example, going to a store to ask the staff questions may help you to overcome fears of being judged when navigating social anxiety. Practicing mindfully eating a meal at a restaurant with your therapist might help to overcome food related fears.

Through discussions with your therapist at TherLively, you can determine with them when it would be helpful to plan to meet outside of the office to help you reach your goals. Before venturing out of the office, your therapist will also work with you to help you prepare for therapy sessions in public settings.

Common exposures in public settings:

☼ Striking up conversations with strangers to improve social comfort

☼ Going to the top of buildings to target height fears

☼ Driving in the car to chip away at related fears

☼ Going to the mall to overcome fears of being in crowded places

☼ Visiting the airport to help address flying phobias

☼ Eating out to conquer food fears

Hybrid Therapy

Having a hard time deciding between in-person therapy and online therapy? If you’re near the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, you might not have to decide. Your therapist at TherLively can work with you to customize a plan for therapy with you. This might take the form of meeting in the office for your first appointment, building skills from the convenience of your home/office through online therapy, and then planning some exposure sessions in public once you’re ready.
